Best Books of 2014 on display #librarydisplay #tlchat

photo 1 (19)Our best books of the year displays are usually the ones that move the most books.  Maybe it is because someone has said they are the best books, or maybe it is because this is right before our long winter break and our students will have some time to read.  photo 2 (18)

This year, we made a new graphic, “I made the list” with a large exclamation point and created bookmarks to put in each book. We did not indicate which list each book was on as we have for the past two years.  It was just an onerous task to do so, and I don’t think our patrons cared much if it was Kirkus or Publisher’s Weekly that recommended it. If you’d like the word document used to create the bookmark, email me at tvahlsing@abingtonfriends.net.photo 3 (16)
