Best Books of 2016 #librarydisplay

This is fourth year that we’ve done a Best Books display.  This display gets a lot of attention from teachers and students.   I’ve had many of the same books on display some of them the week before break, but they don’t get the same attention until it’s been labeled a “best book” by someone.  This year, we cut down the lists that we included in the display.  We cut out Amazon and Barnes and Noble which use sales figures, I believe, rather than reviews.  For this display we included: School Library Journal, Bookmarks Magazine, Horn Book, Kirkus Reviews and the New York Times.  fullsizerender-43
