Beyond Superheroes- graphic non-fiction #librarydisplay

There seem to be more and more graphic non-fiction books being published- biographies, history, science, and more.  It’s a great format for some more difficult topics like the Holocaust since sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words.

We put together this display of almost our entire graphic non-fiction collection.  IMG_2135

I put the books into five main groups and put a sign by each in a speech bubble. For example-  History: “Picture yourself in History” or Shakespeare: “Shakespeare with pictures”, etc. I have a group of biographies and a group of science books, as well as a group of books that delve into deep topics like child soldiers or the Holocaust.
