This is a repeat display for us. It is a great pick-me-up for April, when sometimes it seems as if we are speaking into a void with no students to hear us. Or it just seems to bounce off of them. Students do love their library and wrote some really nice things. Plus it looks pretty. I love how the heart strands sway as people way past. They are hung from a light fixture with paper clips and white ribbon.
I printed out the hearts on pink card stock and cut them out. All I had to do was put them on this table with a pen, and a place to put completed hearts. The students filled them out, and I hung them as they were filled out.
It happened to be my assistant’s birthday when we mounted this display and it made her birthday better when students talked about how great she was on the hearts.
